Verdict

Clear Loch made a promising start in a similar race at Bath and has every chance of going one better here. Firstkissoflove was third on her debut over this trip at Folkestone, while both Forced Family Fun and Gilded Frame have hinted at ability but may do better when tackling handicaps. SPANISH ART was quietly fancied ahead of his debut at Kempton but ran green, only staying on once the leaders had flown. He'll know more today and, over an extra furlong, can open his account. Eric The Grey is likely to be the best of the newcomers.
