      Verdict

      It was a modest heat in which Stroll On finished second at Bath last month but Persian Bolt wasn't beaten far on heavy ground over course and distance three runs ago and hasn't been disgraced since. Sleipnir was running well on the Polytrack at the start of the year but hasn't transferred that form to Turf. MATRAVERS appears to have much more scope than his rivals and a big improvement is expected now he goes handicapping. Sir Michael Stoute's colt is a confident selection as Heska has an absence to overcome and Charmy Dukesse hasn't progressed as expected this year.
