      Verdict

      Sir Mark Prescott has been keeping his powder dry up to now, with only a handful of runners, so we can expect a flood of winners this summer. Jewel Of India has already made his mark though, having appreciated the rain-softened ground and step up in trip when successful over a mile at Hamilton earlier this week. Conditions might not be entirely in his favour then here, especially against the likes of Sociable and Tribal Prince. He may also find Durandana a handful. James Fanshawe's charge battled on well to score at Kempton, looking as though an extra furlong would not come amiss. She gets that here and may improve enough to go in again, providing the going is not too fast.
