Verdict
The feature event on the card has a competitive feel to it, despite the fact that only five will go to post. Litany is in the form of her life and is going for a hat-trick of course wins, but it remains to be seen how she will handle the uplift in grade. Cool Spice, in contrast, takes a slight drop in class and is a consistent sort who will be there or thereabouts. That leaves the topweight Miss Fara, a winner five times over hurdles, but no slouch on the Flat, as victories at Bath and Kempton testify. Amateur ridden at York last time, she had earlier figured in a close finish to a competitive Sandown handicap under Kevin Darley, and has the bottle to shrug of her welter burden.
