      Verdict

Outer Hebrides, Mount Hillaby and Cesare are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Outer Hebrides. The selection hails from a top yard and although he has proved expensive to follow he ran as though the penny was beginning to drop when narrowly beating Distant Country at Wolverhampton last time. Jamie Spencer is riding exceptionally well at present and he looks the one to beat. Mount Hillaby was a good second last time out behind Sorbiesharry but he does look to be in the grip of the handicapper at present and for that reason he is taken on. Cesare should be noted in the market as he remains lightly-raced and he did show some promise in his three races last year. He is another from a top yard and if the market speaks in his favour then he could go well. Taranaki is a likeable type but he looks to be another who is a little high in the weights at present, and for the winner we return to Outer Hebrides.
