Verdict
It was an ordinary Thirsk novice in which Unequal Love made a solid debut when coming home fourth of nine. Cheveley Park Stud will be keen to get a win from the Dutch Art filly and she may well improve from that first run to prove good enough here. Interestingly she steps down a furlong in trip, with a similar approach taken with the more experienced and exposed BISHOP'S CROWN (NAP). The gelding has finished in the front three on five of six starts and was only beaten a length and a half in a Class 4 Newmarket handicap last time. That run sets the form standard and hopefully he will prove sharp enough as he steps down to this sprint trip for the first time. Ribble Rouser finished just ahead of Unequal Love last time and completes the contenders in what appears a three-cornered battle.
