Verdict

Tomintoul Flyer can pay to support ahead of Judgethemoment, Palmerin and Flying Time. The smallest field of the day here sees Tomintoul Flyer line up with leading claims on the strength of a comfortable success at Newmarket last month. Henry Cecil's colt made all at headquarters, and this one-time Royal Lodge hope will find conditions just about perfect for him to attempt a follow-up under Ted Durcan. The selection was third to the useful Centennial on his debut, and on a line though that horse, comes out ahead of Judgethemoment who was also third to the Gosden inmate at Newbury last time, beaten slightly further and in receipt of weight. Palmerin now steps up in trip after running well on the Kempton Polytrack, and on breeding should get the trip, while Flying Time showed vast improvement to open her account at Beverley, and in receipt of the filly's allowance, cannot be totally discounted. Tomintoul Flyer should prove too strong though, and he is taken to lead from pillar-to-post.
