Verdict
Al Mureib has only been out of the money once in eight starts and though yet to win found 1m1f stretching his stamina at Goodwood and will be more at home over this trip. However, CADRE DU NOIR has much more scope and though unraced since a promising debut at Nottingham in October the $1.1m son of War Front is taken to start making up for lost time. Vasiliev is another with a smart pedigree and he should now be at this peak while the likes of Baalbek and Cool Possibility both improved for their initial runs and should make further progress.
