        Verdict

        Placed in both starts so far, AMBER ISLAND has the form in the book having gone close at Yarmouth last time when ahead of a subsequent winner. Charlie Appleby’s filly is preferred to both Woodhouse and High Flying Bird. Several of the newcomers are worth a second glance including another Godolphin runner in Princess Bride and the Gosden filly Fleet Street. Danny Tudhope’s presence suggests Chosen Star is her yard’s first string ahead of Sunset Kiss but Turaath is the first foal of a Listed winner with an entry in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes later in the month and Charlie Hills’ filly may prove the biggest threat.
