The bigger field today should suit TAARESH and Kevin Morgan's gelding gets the vote over Visions Of Johanna, Scamperdale and Celtic Dragon. The last-named is intriguing as he hasn't been seen for 626 days so Amanda Perrett's charge needs a market check off this mark of 69. Preference though is for Taaresh who was a solid winner at Hamilton in May before finishing well-held at Beverley last time. A strong pace to chase may prove to be the key today and on ground that suits he can run well. Snowed Under is a well-handicapped course and distance winner but he was another seven lengths behind the selection at Hamilton, West End Lad paid with the handicapper for wins at Pontefract and Nottingham in April, whilst Silent Oasis is better than a Chepstow flop last time might suggest. Visions Of Johanna was well-backed when winning at Haydock so he needs a market check, Scamperdale is 4lb higher than his win here twelve days ago, whilst Sceilin still looks fairly treated and is not ignored with a good claimer booked for the ride. At the foot of the weights Singbella and Paint The Town Red are not ignored, despite the latter being out of the weights, however preference in a tricky handicap is for Taaresh.
