Sir Michael Stoute's Oasis Dream filly, LADYSHIP, put up two performances of considerable promise in her juvenile days, even when beaten at odds-on when runner-up at Windsor as the front two pulled well clear of the remainder. She had previously shown up well on debut in a decent Newmarket maiden, in which another of today's leading contenders, Cherowee, finished runner-up. There was only half a length between the pair that day and much will depend on their respective improvement levels over the winter and their ability to handle the ground. However, Cherowee hasn't been seen since that Newmarket contest and may just need the run more than the Stoute inmate. Srinigar Girl went off at 25/1 on her Lingfield debut but rattled home in terrific style and was just denied. This is the yard's first three-year-old runner of the new campaign and the market should prove instructive.
