        Verdict

        This looks quite a competitive finale with three last-time out winners in opposition. Countrywide Flame scored over this trip at Hamilton 10 days ago and Diplomasi returned to winning ways at Kempton last month. But they both lack the scope of CARAVAN ROLLS ON, who was having only his third start when landing a Lingfield maiden in February. Given time to strengthen up since, the Hernando colt can pay his way over middle-distances on turf. Lady Bridget has been well beaten in both starts this year and may not have trained on.
