Oulamayo was third on his hurdling debut at Plumpton and should know more today. Theligny was only beaten a length at the same track on her first start over timber and also goes on the shortlist. Arcamante won over 2m on the Flat, though seemed best when able to hear his hooves rattle. IFTIRAAQ (NAP) seemed to handle all types of going on the level and looks the type to do well over hurdles. He did not manage to win on the Flat but was placed in three of his eight starts and may be too classy for these. Stout Cortez stayed well on the Flat so could find this distance too short.
