    Verdict

Rallying Cry has been well placed here to continue the good run of Godolphin, with Big Robert and Al Tharib the others to consider. Big Robert comes down to earth here, after trips to France, Ireland and Royal Ascot. In all three ventures he has acquitted himself well, but has only one success to his credit and may have to wait a little longer for another. Al Tharib represents Sir Michael Stoute, who ended a quiet spell with four winners in the last week, including the notable Eclipse Stakes success of Notnowcato. He won impressively at Chester, but was found wanting for quality and stamina at Royal Ascot. Back in trip here, Al Tharib can give a good account. Rallying Cry was beaten only four lengths in the Dewhurst when with John Gosden, and has only had one run in Dubai this year, where he shaped creditably. He seems to have a clear opportunity of returning to winning ways here, and Rallying Cry can score.
