    Verdict

    Meagher's Flag won a Gowran handicap for Jim Bolger last summer and has presumably joined Paul Nicholls for jumping. Casement has run two fine races at Pontefract in-between a poor run on Fibresand, scoting there in April before runner-up to the very well supported Kripke from tonight's mark. GEETANJALI ended last season winning a Sandown handicap and was returning from a long break in a Class 3 handicap at Brighton so with that under her belt she looks the one to beat. Billy Roberts ran well when runner-up at Wolverhampton in February and attracted plenty of support at Pontefract next time but ran poorly and will need to bounce back.
