Verdict

The Hannon-Hughes combination look to have plenty of solid chances on the card but none stronger than NUMERAL. The Holy Roman Emperor gelding has hardly set the world alight in two outings this term but his juvenile form is immensely superior to anything else on display and this return to sprinting looks a logical move. A'Faal showed a glimmer of promise on his Lingfield Polytrack debut but was still beaten over 15 lengths. That such form represents the next best on offer says much about the quality of the contest. The remainder have achieved nothing whatsoever to date so the unraced London Avenue wouldn't have to be anything special to make the frame on his racecourse debut.
