Verdict
BRIDGEHAMPTON improved dramatically for the considerable step-up in trip when winning with any amount in hand at Beverley and can defy a penalty here. He could be way ahead of the handicapper if that performance is taken literally and makes plenty of appeal. Za'Lan has been consistent on artificial surfaces and now moves to turf but it will be an excellent performance if he can concede weight to the selection. A bigger danger could be Like Clockwork, successful at Kempton last time when giving the clear impression that he'll improve with his racing. The dark horse is Roger Charlton's Tantamount who showed much more first time up this term behind Main Line at Wolverhampton and looks certain to come on a great deal for that run moving into handicaps for the first time. He's one to keep and eye on.
