      Verdict

      Red Invader beat BRONZE BEAU, Noodles Blue Boy and Two Turtle Doves in this last year but Kristin Stubbs' nine-year-old comes out best at the weights today and is taken to go one better than over course and distance 10 days ago, despite a pound higher mark. Noodles Blue Boy has Serena Brotherton doing the steering this time and should be competitive again while Ambitious Icarus shouldn't be far away as he's still slipping down the handicap despite showing consistency lately. It's more than two years since Time Medicean last won a race and the going may be softer than ideal. Mitchum beat the selection narrowly at Hamilton but is now 2lb worse off.
