Verdict
Pickle won well enough at Epsom to command support here, with Ela Paparouna, Miss Judgement and Moon Legend earning a mention on previous efforts. Pickle has been a bit unlucky since opening her account at Folkestone in May, having been struck with a rival's whip at Newmarket, and then not able to act round Windsor when fancied. However, she put all of that behind her when scoring at Epsom last time, and although it was not the greatest of contests, it means that she lines up here in confident mood. The daughter of Piccolo is taken to defy a six-pound penalty and get the better of Ela Paparouna who has been running fairly well without being able to exploit a decent mark. Despite being bred for speed as a relative of Kyllachy, she lacks a gear at present and is worth opposing. Miss Judgement should fare better over tonight's distance, and Moon Legend has scope to progress but needs to settle better than she did at Yarmouth. Pickle is the one with the form in the book and can follow up.
