Uig has been consistent and can pay to support ahead of Pine Cone, Azizam and Zayn Zen, with Namathej worth a mention also. Uig has been successful twice this season, including on fast ground at Lingfield where she beat Namathej off levels. They meet on the same terms here, so Stuart Howe's filly should have the latter's measure again. Since that success at the Surrey track, Uig has tried to make all at Goodwood and Folkestone, fading on both occasions, but she is still not badly treated compared to last season, and similar tactics may pay off on this track. Pine Cone makes her handicap debut after opening her account on the third of three visits to Windsor, where the step up to 10 furlongs proved the answer. Azizam appears to have hit form at just the right time judged on her recent Redcar victory, but she may struggle off this higher mark. Zayn Zen was only just denied at Newmarket last time, and on breeding should come into her own over today's trip. They can all make things interesting, but Uig is selected to make all.
