In depth

Verdict

Alaskan Fizz, Anna Panna and Al Alba are three against the field in a wide open finale and the narrow vote is given to Alaskan Fizz. The selection won well last time out when beating Lago d'Oro in a bumper. She is sure to have been well schooled for this her hurdling debut and under conditions that suit she is taken to score. Anna Panna rates the main danger as at least she has experience over obstacles and was a fair fifth behind Harringay last time,. The drop in trip should also suit and she should be noted in the market. Al Alba is another that could go well as she won over seven furlongs on the flat and hails from a yard in top form. Sonnengold is a German flat winner and is another that should be monitored in the market but for the winner we return to Alaskan Fizz who is unexposed and is sure to improve.
