Dark Confidant boasts a decent level of form at this level and seems sure to be thereabouts again but only dead-heated with IT'S THE ICE behind Pickett's Charge over this trip at Newcastle, despite Kevin Ryan's gelding running green on debut - the latter should come out on top this time with that run under his belt. Mick Channon should find a race for Gandvik before long as he's been showing steady improvement while Le Roi Du Temps wasn't beaten far at Thirsk on his second start. He's probably more progressive than Gunman and Ripoll.
