        Verdict

        There are three newcomers in this second division and all are worth a market check. William Buick partners Past Glories for Mark Johnston, Pukka Tique represents a yard that has a good strike-rate here with its juveniles and Legend Island was an €80,000 purchase. FARO ANGEL (NAP) is from a stable whose two-year-olds nearly always improve for a run. He was particularly green at Ascot earlier this month but stayed on strongly in the closing stages and will know more today. Newcastle fifth Nubough and God Has Given are other likely improvers and Extreme Force and Hold Still boast similar form figures but both were beaten in lesser company last time.
