In depth
Verdict
Double Attack, Golan Knight and Angle of Attack look the three to concentrate on in this competitive opener and the vote is given to Golan Knight . The selection was a fair third behind Easy Target last time out and he looks to be on a fair mark here. He also has a good draw and looks a value bet. Double Attack rates the main danger as he won well on his debut before being outclassed at Royal Ascot last time. However, he will find this much easier and he should go well, although he has yet to prove he acts on ground this soft and that does temper our confidence in him. Angle of Attack is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Victorian Bounty, but he is another that has to prove he goes on this ground. Rub of The Relic is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is exposed which returns us to Golan Knight who looks a solid bet.
