In depth

Verdict

A poor race that won't take a lot of winning and So Brash is only a tentative selection ahead of In Extra Time and Kirkby's Vic. So Brash is far from the most fluent of chasers as his technique is distinctly agricultural. He handles decent ground and if his jumping holds together, connections have found a bad enough race. In Extra Time is related to some useful chasers of the past. He is yet to justify a couple of gambles that have accompanied his most recent starts and it would be no surprise to see a rush to grab compensation. Kirkby's Vic would have to be one of the worst horses to be in the Twiston-Davies yard. He will attract followers in spite of a 0/13 record. Kaparolo looks to have completely lost the plot these days while Madam Harriet put up one of her best performances to date last time out...unfortunately that hasnt said a lot for what obtained before. Furze Hill could be capable of improvement for better ground so is accordingly noted in the market. So Brash is put forward to the most minimal of stakes.
