Not many of these are capable of winning a race of this nature so we will give the vote to the in form Newick Park, with June's River and Enzo de Baune chosen as alternatives. Newick Park is enjoying a new lease of life after moving to the Dickin yard, winning at both Warwick and Newbury. He won with just ten stone four pounds on his back at the latter venue but should be up to carrying top weight in this lower grade today and will make a bold bid to land the hat-trick. Enzo de Baune bounced back to somewhere near his best when finishing a respectable fourth behind Joint Authority at Musselburgh earlier this month and should be in the firing line. June's River comes into the reckoning after finishing a close second to All Sonsilver at Newcastle last week. There are plenty of question marks against most of the others, Kind Sir has decent enough form in the past but does appear to have lost his enthusiasm in recent outings. The same applies to Our Tommy who would be a major threat if reproducing his course running here last February when second to Executive Officer. So we will stick to the horses with current form and side with Newick Park.
