Verdict

John Clare won a nursery here in October and Glory was placed at Ascot and Newmarket last season and made an encouraging reappearance at Kempton. Azor Ahai looked to coming to hand when second at Beverley but Derry Boy, who runs in the Rooney colours, was well beaten on his only previous run on Turf. Miss Elsa should find a race this year and Ramesses looked progressive in his first season but MAWSOOL kept finding to beat an odds-on favourite at Lingfield on his return to action and may be worth sticking with on his handicap debut.
