Verdict

Amical Risks, Zach's Harmony, Alexander Guru, Aphrodisia, The Flying Cowboy and Dan Tucker all have claims but we far prefer the chances of Bold Bobby Be. John Dunlop's charge hasn't stood all that much racing over the years but he showed just why his connections were persevering with him at Nottingham last time. Kerrin McEvoy found plenty of trouble on him that day but he finished really well when he got into the clear and a one pound rise in the weights won't be enough to prevent him from winning this. Princelywallywogan is short-list material but Zach's Harmony caught the eye behind him last time and could represent better value as may Amical Risks who caught the eye behind him at Folkestone and is from the yard responsible for last year's winner. Alexander Guru, Dan Tucker and Aphrodisia are others to come into the race in form whilst The Flying Cowboy has run well here in the past and hasn't many miles on the clock. Not a bad race but Bold Bobby Be makes plenty of appeal.
