Verdict

DAY MEMBER was too green to do herself justice at Newbury but that was a strong contest that is sure to produce plenty of future winners. The Big Board has the benefit of two outings under her belt though her stable aren’t necessarily in the greatest of form at present. Roger Varian has a good record with his runners at Leicester so Love Getaway isn’t one to dismiss lightly. One Of Our Own outperformed expectations up at Hamilton while Smooth Kicks misfired on debut and Karl Burke’s filly can do better.
