Verdict

Clipsham Gold could conceivably have been raised by more than just the 2lb she attracted for a recent success at the track and Laura Pearson’s claim will negate that rise. That said, the filly is unproven over the trip and that’s not something that can be levelled at GIRL INTHE PICTURE (NAP) as Ed Dunlop’s filly won at Bath over this distance earlier in the year. Blue Collar Lad represents a stable that have hit the crossbar with their recent runners and cannot be ruled out while Larkin isn’t without quirks but if he cooperates with the stalls handlers, he could be there when the big cheques are handed out.
