Verdict
Mount Prague can gain reward for some consistent efforts, with Allimac, Wise King and Prairie Minstrel not out of it either. Mount Prague's last victory came at Huntingdon over a year ago, since when he has struggled a bit. However, there have been definite signs of late that he can add to his tally. The main thing is that Kim Bailey's nine-year-old needs to brush up his jumping, but other than that, the trip and ground should be in his favour here. Allimac' s trainer always does well here, and with Robert Biddlecombe taking off a valuable five pounds, he should go well despite topweight, while Wise King found only the useful Iris Royal too good at Sandown, so must surely be in at the finish as well. As for Prairie Minstrel, he is a course and distance winner and is in form, but takes a bit of a step up in class. In a tight little affair, we return to Mount Prague as our idea of the winner.
