    Verdict

Phar Again was good value for his defeat of Ping Pong Sivola here earlier this month but the runner up has twice found one too good since then so a 15lb rise for Emma Lavelle's gelding may prevent him from following up and a better bet may be SPACE COWBOY, who gets the vote with Najca De Thaix rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was well held on his reappearance at Wincanton last month but Gary Moore's gelding should come on for that outing and he looks worth chancing on form that he showed at the end of last season. Fire And Rain looks the clear second best of Emma Lavelle's two runners and of more interest may be Jonjo O'Neill's Irish import Fourball, who makes his debut for Jonjo today. Desert Secrets is better than he showed behind Ours here earlier this month but of more interest may be Peter Kelsall's recent Warwick winner Najca De Thaix, who is only 6lbs higher today. Marginal preference in a competitive contest though is for Space Cowboy.
