Mcgowan's Pass hasn’t won in more than two years but the veteran is 4lb lower now. PLAYFUL SAINT kept on for pressure behind the smart Love Envoi at Sandown earlier this month and is fancied to give the weight away here to lesser rivals, though Washington appeared to resent the headgear last time at Newbury having made a perfectly respectable reappearance at Ascot.
