In depth
Verdict
Most of these have been finding winning difficult as evinced by recent form figures and this does not look a race for strong stakes. Signore Piccolo ran really well on his first run for his new yard and has every chance with the 7lb claim of the promising Rossa Ryan a major bonus. He could well oblige but if things fall into place, then BURTONWOOD could be the one. A hold-up performer, he'll need the right gaps to appear at the right time but has every chance if the cards fall his way. Jim Crowley is an interesting booking for Out Of The Ashes who should be monitored closely in the market, whilst the consistent Borough Boy should be there or thereabouts and completes the shortlist.
