In depth

Verdict

Assemble should have no stamina issues having scored over 2m4f on heavy ground at Limerick though takes on much better opposition. ELIXIR D'AINAY couldn't cope with Envoi Allen in a Naas Grade 1 last time, with Longhouse Poet not far behind, but that was no disgrace and he can return to winning ways. The winner's yard is represented by Fury Road, who showed his liking for a stamina test when scoring with a bit in hand over 2m7f on heavy going at Limerick. Latest Exhibition stepped up to 2m4f at Navan and beat the long odds-on Andy Dufresne, who has subsequently landed a Punchestown Grade 2. Paul Nolan's stable star is certain to go well in what should be a tremendous opener.
