Verdict

AYR HARBOUR won a higher grade contest at Newcastle on his recent handicap debut. That’s the strongest form on offer and Mick Appleby’s charge can go in again raised only 3lb. Phuket Power was beaten only a length at this level when runner-up at Kempton with previous winner Barking Mad well behind and looks the main danger given the latter’s disappointing effort. Rodney Le Roc has yet to threaten but may do best of the rest now handicapping.
