In depth

Verdict

Mark Johnston had a couple of winners on Derby Day at the Curragh and wouldn't be sending STENTORIAN here unless he though the Street Cry colt was capable of picking up this Listed prize despite the fact his only success came in a Leicester maiden a couple of weeks ago. He obviously has more to do against the likes of Coventry Stakes sixth Zoffany, who earlier scored here and at Naas, and Sydney Harbour, who beat a decent field at the Curragh on Sunday. Free Art is very closely matched with Sydney Harbour on their run behind Snow Mountain at Limerick and probably has more scope while there was plenty to like about the debut of Hasty Katie at the Curragh on Friday and Jim Bolger brings her out very quickly, which looks significant.
