Verdict
New World Tapestry isn't a stable star having been well beaten in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and behind stable companion Russian Emperor at Royal Ascot. He's still likely to prove better than stablemate Celtic High King, who could only finish fourth behind today's rival So Suave in a Gowran handicap though got no sort of run and has a pull in the weights. The winner deserves a chance at this grade though the runner-up was well beaten next time. Confidence High, Dalvey and Masteroffoxhounds all enter the fray in winning form though it's difficult to get away from the chances of SINAWANN. Michael Halford's colt, beaten just over a length by Mogul in the Group 2 Champions Juvenile here in September, only faded in the closing stages in the Irish 2000 Guineas when less than five lengths behind Siskin and this should be well within his capabilities.
