In depth

Verdict

The majority of these have been meeting regularly, a point emphasised by last month's Gowran handicap in which Toccata Blue beat In Salutem and Six Of Hearts in a bunch finish with Surreal well beaten. With just a 2lb rise to contend with, the winner should just about confirm the form though may not be capable of conceding weight to RECKLESS LAD. Pat Martin's charge has won three times at Dundalk since October and was having his first start since March when not beaten far at Down Royal in May where he was impeded in the early stages. Flic Flac found a mile stretching his stamina last time after scoring over this trip at Sligo and if the ground eases she's definitely one for the shortlist while at the opposite end of the handicap Wishyouwerehere will be happier back over this trip after staying on over 6f at Cork.
