Verdict

The bottom pair are a long way out of the handicap and can't be realistic contenders. SANUS PER AQUAM won three times as a juvenile including here and in a Group 3 at Newmarket before finishing third in the Dewhurst. He only ran twice in his second campaign but a run at Dundalk in March should have put him straight and he can start making up for lost time. Tirmizi also won here in his first season but had just one run in the Derrinstown Stud Trial on this card last term and hasn't been seen subsequently. Like the selection, he has the potential to do much better and the pair look to have the call over their limited rivals though Benkei returned to form at Tipperary and will enjoy conditions more than most.
