Verdict

Three-year-olds had won seven in succession until Pearls Galore scored for the older brigade last year. The youngsters look to have the edge this time around and TAHIYRA, already a dual winner at the top level in the Irish 1000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes, will be very difficult to beat. Meditate has already been beaten three times by the selection though she hasn't been far away and didn't act on soft ground in France last time. Zarinsk, a Group 2 winner here last time, is probably still capable of better while the selection's stablemate Homeless Songs, last year's Irish 1000 Guineas winner, is reportedly back in top form and looks best of the older horses.
