Verdict

Griffin ran reasonably well behind Eskimo at Tipperary and will have come on for the run but there a some choicely-bred youngsters in this and he may have to wait for his first success. Johnny Murtagh's mount Master Of Hounds made a pleasing debut behind Moonlit Garden at the Curragh and along with newcomer Roderic O'Connor gives Aidan O'Brien a strong hand. Jim Bolger is also doubly represented and the speedily-bred Music In The Rain looks one to follow but it's another with a sprinter's pedigree, MCMONAGLE, who gets the vote. Dermot Weld's is a half-brother to a couple of 2yo winners and his dam was a winner over the minimum trip as a juvenile.
