Dermot Weld won this four years in succession from 2015 and Duke De Sessa, a Group 3 winner here in October, should have benefited from a break after some smart early-season form. Aidan O'Brien has three entries with Ryan Moore on board Bluegrass, who failed to stay 1m6f in a Listed race here last time and finished five lengths behind POINT KING. The latter goes from strength-to-strength and, though the Ballydoyle entry should get closer over this trip, the positions can be confirmed. Thunder Kiss ran a fine race in the Pretty Polly though needs to find a bit more but Paddy Twomey's pair, Beamish and Earl Of Tyrone, are greatly respected in the likely conditions with preference just for the latter, the pick of Billy Lee after a superb run in the Ebor.
