      Verdict

      Chips Are Down made a promising debut over 5f at Tipperary but was beaten a long way when tried over this trip at the Curragh. Angela's Dream did nothing wrong on her debut at Dundalk and will improve though the form hasn't worked out so far and she may find COUGAR RIDGE too strong. David Wachman's colt has a big weight in this auction event but his pedigree suggests he'll be an early two-year-old and he can make a winning start. Bedecked cost very little as a yearling but she's nicely bred and gets a decent allowance from the selection.
