Verdict
Irish Derby third DAWN PATROL had a spin round Naas to lose his maiden tag and though tackling this trip for the first time he's a son of Galileo out of a Darshaan mare so it's unlikely to be a problem. Stable companion Shoshone Warrior came here after a long absence and made all for a comfortable success over 1m4f. Another son of Galileo, an Irish St Leger entry suggests he's held in some regard. Emperor Of The Sun, yet another Galileo and in the Coolmore colours, is a half-brother to a Group 1 winner in Australia and he's also entered in the final Curragh classic. Pista won a Galway maiden on soft ground in a canter and may prove best of Joseph O'Brien's trio.
