Verdict

Children's List would have won at Galway in October but for a last-flight fall then ran well in a better race at Navan. He should still have some improvement in him and can get into contention. GALLANT OSCAR (NAP) was in fine form over fences at this time a year ago and was still in touch when unseating his rider on his comeback in last month's Paddy Power here. He can revert to hurdles on a 20lb lower mark and looks the one to be on. Sammy Black is another who came to grief last time and looks well in on his chasing form while the lightly-raced Golan Lodge has to be respected as his close second to Flemenstorm at Fairyhouse was given a boost when the winner went on to score over fences. Not For Burning could hardly have been more impressive in the Fairyhouse mud on New Year's Day and a 7lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort. Massini's Trap was entered for a Grade 3 at Naas yesterday but this would be a more realistic target.
