The former Germany-trained Goldana's opening victory for Joseph O'Brien came on heavy ground so some rain would aid her cause. Mutasarref hasn't replicated last season's form nor has Pretreville, who won a Group 3 here last May. Villanova Queen put a couple of moderate runs behind her when landing the Kensington Palace Handicap at Royal Ascot and still has scope for improvement as does ALFRED MUNNINGS. The Ballydoyle colt, a debut winner here in May last year, was having only his fourth start when runner-up in a Group 3 over slightly further here last month and can go one better.
