Plenty of unknowns here but HOWLING WOLF made a cracking start at the Curragh, chasing the winner inside the final furlong and just failing to quicken close home. Normal progress will see Tony Mullins' grey difficult to beat though the filly Taggalo also ran well on her debut on the same track and should appreciate the quicker ground. She had Fran 3l behind and should confirm the form bur Paso Doble has been given a break since finishing last at Naas in April. Edward Hopper is a half-brother to four winners and this should be his trip but Kassaba will appreciate further in time. as should Santiago, who is by Authorized. Kevin Prendergast saddled last year's winner so Troop Commander is another to look out for.
