RAFFAELLO landed a nine touch at Gowran on Sunday, staying on strongly up the rails after losing his pitch for a few strides in the straight. He looked to have a bit in hand and a 6lb penalty shouldn't be enough to prevent a quick double. Fancy Footings looks an obvious threat after a promising first run for Joseph O'Brien at Gowran last month and he's been left on the same mark. Gatsby Cap had been in excellent form before a moderate run here last week and the assessor may have got to him but A Step Too Far made a very encouraging handicap debut here a couple of weeks ago, staying on really well over that 7f, and his trainer is in fine form.
