Verdict

Expressionist was earmarked for this after scoring over the track and trip last month, though the runner-up has been beaten subsequently. Ventura Rebel is the other course and distance winner in the line-up having come from off the pace to beat the long odds-on Lady Pauline, a very impressive winner at Keeneland earlier. The third has won subsequently so the form stands up. The runner-up's yard is represented by Maven, who started odds-on at Aqueduct in April on Dirt and made all. Mount Fuji overcame obvious greenness to score at Cork but stable companion King Neptune has disappointed since his opening victory at Dundalk. Real Appeal arrives from France where he gained three narrow victories while Air Force Jet looks to have the scope to go on from here. SUNDAY SOVEREIGN has looked very impressive in his two starts on ground with plenty of give at the Curragh and Tipperary. His three-length victory over Arizona at the former track could hardly have received a bigger boost when the runner-up landed Tuesday's Coventry Stakes and he is very difficult to oppose. Emten was engaged in the 2.30 yesterday.
